Knoxville, TN — Three days after receiving a compliment on his appearance from his girlfriend, Shawn Dent, 27, was visited by the Grow A Mustache Fairy in the middle of the night.
The fairy not only affixed facial hair to the man’s upper lip, but also put him under a spell that prevents him from shaving it for at least six months.
Sightings have increased in the past few years as more and more women and men alike are reporting that the fairy has visited their partners. The common thread linking all of these cases appears to be satisfaction with their partner’s appearance. Even so, the visits appear to be random, occurring anywhere from hours to weeks after the inciting contentment.
